Site Optimization

When it comes to site optimization, it's always good to research your competition. Try using Page-Site Comparison.

This tool allows you to compare two different websites, and will provide various aspects of SEO for you to dissect.

The best way to learn SEO tactics is to research other websites. You can find certain practices you would have never thought to use.

To help with this process, try out SEO Explorer.

This app acts as any other kind of browser; only it has analytical features that can help with your research.

When keeping up with the more headache inducing aspects of SEO, sometimes it's the simple things that can get through the cracks. Checking for broken links is one of these processes.

To make the practice more simple, try using Xenu Link Sleuth. This freeware will help check websites for broken links, and provide results in a simple list.

Ready to enhance your website for search engines? If so, then try using Web Optimus.

RE: Site Optimization
It is also a great idea to check your competitions links.

By studying your competitions links (Use Yahoo.com to check your competitors links - simply place the words LINK: and then the full URL of the site you want to check in to the search bar) you can get a good idea of the work involved to get similar rankings.

The best in steam showers, whirlpool baths and bathroom furniture from Whirlpool bathrooms.

RE: Site Optimization
Web site optimization produces highly competitive web sites that out-perform on every measure; traffic, speed, conversion rates, sell-throughs, and, most importantly, return on your investment.

RE: Site Optimization
A couple of the cheeky SEO tricks I've 'realised'...
  • for a non-commercial site, with a geographic leaning, add to the relevant Wikipedia page.
  • for a small company with small competitors, use your competitor's name as site keywords and Google Adwords keywords

Well, as the competitor has better web coverage at the moment, having us pop up incidentally next to them is better than not popping up at all! Big Grin
