Google May Start Calling PageRank Something Else

I was reading an article today which said that "Google May Start Calling PageRank Something Else"

Has anybody heard or read anythink regarding this ?

So what would they call it...you global internet page position or GIPP ?

I don't know what they're going to call it but as I know it they are going to use the same algorithm to work out page rank, seems a bit pointless to just change the name so maybe that's not true. Alexa is better and more accurate anyway (so long as you have the toolbar) but not enough average consumers will have the alexa toolbar, mainly web developers and certain i.t. professionals. If everyone installed the alexa toolbar, it would be much better for indicating your true page rank.

Thanks for the replies, but still a bit in the dark to why google wants to re-name PageRank.

At the top of page where your login detals are click on User CP ( User Control Panel )
Then on the left hand side click on edit-change signature.
