Find quality websites with content similar to your website and request that they add a link to your site. The more links the better. This is probably the most important part of SEO.

Identify keywords or terms that are used by surfers to search for your website. Add them as meta tags to each webpage, not only your homepage.

This is in the world, strangly this site is highly rated in the United Arab Emerates with a ranking of #27,184.

Alexa is not the definative tool but a means of measuring how your work on the seo is being effective or not.

I moved domains with my website in January and I climbed from 12 millionth to 1.1 in the 3 months stats and in the one months stats I am in the 600,000 mark, not bad for a domain transfer this year.

Hi

Read this thread with interest, and I think the contents of the original post, and then the meaning of what they consdier as 'free' is a warning for us all.

I would imagine everyone else on here gets similar emails to the ones I get everyday, that for little or even no cost they can put me at the top of google, and send 1,000's of visitors to me on a daily basis.

When I started I thought 'yes' this is it, success is on its way, now of course I just think its another junk email, and delete it straightaway.

As another poster said, and as we have all seen before 'there is no such thing as a free lunch', try not to be 'sucked' in no matter how tempting it looks.

If its too good to be true then its not.

I would not trust anybody to SEO my website not with the knowledge that I have gained.

Getting good positioning on google is all about keywords, what do you want to be found on google on the first page.

1. Your website name, if you can not get it there then the rest is hopeless

2. 10 good strong words that you want to be searched on your website, such as a computer website you may want, computer, components, inks, disks, laptops etc.

3. Make sure you place these keywords in the keyword meta tags, if you have somebody do it for you, check their work by right clicking your mouse on your home page and click view source, your meta keywords will be at the top.
