Free Advertising

Yesterday I spent a while looking on this forum as I am new to it. A lot of the information is helping me. However I wanted to know some information from the "pros".

1. I currently use google advertising however its very expensive any way round this?
2. I use social networking and have it on the bottom of every page of my website however I cant get people clicking, any ideas?
3. Is there any other free advertising which people think has worked for them or has known it work for others?

Thanks

Hi

Google adverts can be expensive, but you can set the amount you want to pay per click, apart from that there is no way around it.

Facebook and Twitter, you will not get many followers by simply adding a logo to your site, you need to be active on there.

There are other forms of free advertising like gumtree but again do a google search and you will find more, there is plenty out there but its hard work and the more you put in the more you will get out.

RE: Free Advertising
Okay thanks, just trying to get started. About the price that has been said a few times that its not clear enough thanks. As far as the site went I thought it is pretty clean and easy to navigate. Its not just getting it out there. I also am not sure why its not indexed in Yahoo.
Also if anyone knows how to create site maps would be handy.
Thanks,

RE: Free Advertising
Hi you can pop over to my site and add your 'advert' for free, or if you wanted a bannder it comes at a small cost.

Every site which is on mine has a review section which ranks very well on google, try it out with ourclass.co.uk for instance and see what pops up. Smile

RE: Free Advertising
Social networking sites are free to use and it is best for advertising, it can create more backlink of your website and attract more visitors to the website. There are so many social networking sites are available like facebook, Twitter, MySpace etc. You can use email marketing, it is also free marketing.
