in my opinion ebay is the best place to sell your products. i have sold loads of stuff on there and still do, without ebay id be skint

I also have a shop on eBay but am sick of the money they charge me every month. PLUS, when there is a problem there is no1 to speak to.

I have had such problems with them I just opened my owe site. 1st, the stock count was not correct because they never subtracted as the products sold. THEN people leave a negative feedback for nothing.

But 1 thing is corect, they have the traffic

Yeah Ebay can be alittle funny at times, like most peole they are good at taking your money but seem to not hear you when you have a problem.

I have found allot of people are not using Ebay and are finding alternate sites to use or at least try until Ebay sort themselves out.

In my opinion ebay are a household name and also part of paypal so no other auction site can compete with them. They are aware of this and thats why they can get away with what they like. A bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it.

TBH If I sell something (which is rare) I put it on Ebay and usually it is one of the first places I check when looking for something I cannot buy elsewhere or at a good price, I am guilty of using them myself when i should try others probably but like you said they are a big concern and and know it.

Ebay has kept the Royal Mail from going under with the amount of parcels that get sent every day due to ebay. Also it has made hundreds of people Millionaires, its just a shame i am not one of them :-(

I once saw an action site for sale that I really wanted to buy and launch against eBay. I am so upset I neva. I would be raking it in by now.
Its a problem with all very big sites or companies, they take the money and no1 is around when the is a problem

eBay is fantastic and a complete nightmare (changes from day to day). I have been trading for a little under 2 years now full time on eBay with great results, but the new top seller rating system is way beyond me. Also really frustrated when chinese/hong kong listings flood the search listings and make it so much harder for a UK seller to compete.
