I have been trading for a little under 2 years now full time on eBay with great results, but the new top seller rating system is way beyond me. Also really frustrated when chinese/hong kong listings flood the search listings and make it so much harder for a UK seller to compete.

Just had the shop redesigned, what do you all think http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/FancyDressQueen

Your ebay shop is looking good, just love the products you sell Wink

RE: ebay is still the best place to sell

What is also crazy about eBay is that stupid people list stuff loads of times for 99p just for a brochure so the people that want to sell proper stuff dont get seen.

RE: ebay is still the best place to sell

The main reason why people do it is because you dont get charged for the postage.

Planning on starting a new "eBay" site. Who is going to join in?

I want to be very different from eBay. These are a few points-
Wont over charge my customers.
Will have a customer services you can chat with
Will have 2nd class postage

ANY MORE SUGGESTION?

I agree, there are many other auction sites across the web but if you use them then you are more likely to be scammed, a lot of people complain about ebay but they don't realise the service they are getting.

RE: ebay is still the best place to sell
Love your fancy dress shop. Ive tried to sell on ebay a few times (once even with similar stock to your shop) but never had now success - I must have done something wrong - but still don't know what, but it put me off and Ive never bothered since.

:dodgy:ugh

I just barely start selling there. I honestly hate ebay seriously. They make it so hard on you. The fee are a nightmare! I think I pay so much out of my own pocket that seem like I profit nothing.
