RE: Ebay Auction Sniper
I have never used one but have a few friends that do, its much more fun waiting untill the last few seconds and then out bidding them, leaving them no time to react.

RE: Ebay Auction Sniper
I haven't used a program like that either but then I haven't bid on an auction in ages. I don't see it as cheating at all, what if you are not available to bid for an auction at the end? I presume the program allows sellers to make more money in the long run so I can't complain.

RE: Ebay Auction Sniper
As a seller on ebay I don't like it because the ending price of the item will tend to be lower than it should. It has its benefits if you are a buyer tho.

It's brilliant and free! I don't consider it cheating. You can't always be there to bid at the last moment, so it's simply bidding by proxy. |

Problem with sniping manually is that if you try to do it in the last 2-3 seconds, you can get lag problems, which screws up your bid. The Sniping websites apparently have banks of servers all ready to snipe at the last minute. As another person said, the prices do tend to be lower, as you don't get the silly (from a buyer perspective ) mid-auction bidding.
