***Important changes for sellers coming this September 2010 on eBay.co.uk***

During 2010, the focus has been on making eBay a stronger and more profitable sales channel for sellers and an increasingly trusted online site for shoppers.

The final Seller News for this year contains initiatives that will help sellers prepare for the busiest sales season of the year. There are new and enhanced tools to help sellers improve the performance of their listings and save time. These changes will go online from the second week of September, giving you time to prepare.

Overview of important changes from September:

1.New Listing Analytics - Track listing performance and sell more. From October, the new eBay Listing Analytics application will be made available to help improve the performance of listings and maximise sales.

2.New standardised delivery information helps reduce questions. Delivery services will be displayed using a standard e-commerce classification – Economy, Standard and Express. Also, a new postage rate table enables sellers to display the costs for posting to special domestic regions not covered by standard charges.

3.Bulk edit more and save time. More functionality will be available to manage listings on-site. Sellers will then be able to edit listing descriptions and more in bulk.

4.MP3 Players & GPS Systems - Listing with a product from the eBay catalogue required. Sellers in these sub-categories must list with a matching product from the eBay catalogue as search results containing listings from these categories will be grouped by product.

5.Reminder – Buyer Protection cases included in seller performance. From 20 October, eBay and PayPal buyer protection cases will be added as a new requirement to the seller performance standards
