RE: Blog commenting useless for SEO?
did you mean blog or forum? I think it does help though either way, as it ends up on webpages, which would eventually be crawled. Although the site owner may setup the robots.txt file so crawlers and bots do not read the blogs, but i doubt that they will actually do that

RE: Blog commenting useless for SEO?
I've not done much commenting on blogs, and I need to improve. But I have certainly noticed an increase in backlinks when I do. That increases SEO. I think of it as several synapses connecting the brain cells, therefore improving capacity.

RE: Blog commenting useless for SEO?
The difference between an SEO that has proven to comment on blogs and one that does not have is that you do not say it does not work and who remains calm about it and goes on to comment.
As SEO is also distinguished as they are in the Premier League and still in the team slugging pub.
Some SEO "experts" see eg "nofollow" is no more juice. End of.
This is a mistake.
A comment on your blog is an advertisement, is a branding tool will be added to the sum of how people perceive you. How people perceived to have a direct impact on whether to join you.
For example, when SEO "experts" say is useless blog comments, my perception of his ability as an SEO is more informed.
It is well known that blogs and their comments were scraped and removed nofollow.
A visible link means that a human can visit the site and drop a dofollow if they like what they see.
Blog owners tend to see the links on the left in blog comments, which means you can get very important to get bloggers to your site.
A comment in your blog can demonstrate your ability in one area and make people go, "ooohhhhhh, is good."
If spam blog has not worked, do you really think I would still be happening? What is interesting about the nofollow was introduced to blogs to stop sending spam, it has not done anything to stop it.
Moreover, even when the link is dofollow and SEO would be a blog and say, "but not a real website"
Does this mean you should go out and leave "Great post" in the comments of blogs you can find. No, because there is no way to blog comment and there is no way not to.
Blog commenting is a tool in the toolbox, carried out for specific tasks and for specific reasons. No I'm not going to give you a step by step how to do, as you probably have a massive brain (you're reading this blog) and worked on their own at this point.

RE: Blog commenting useless for SEO?
Blog commenting is a great way to get backlinks to your site. Ranking achieved through blog commenting are more reliable to compare the profile of the bonds. A backlink to your site will linkjuice if your PR6 page or page PR1. I do not think anyone disputes the importance of blogs commenting on link building campaigns.
