catalogues and the new eBay International Markets.

for new sellers, and how you can waive this new security
step if you're an existing seller setting up new selling
accounts.

SELLERS' PRODUCT PHOTOS IN EBAY CATALOGUES

The eBay product catalogues are being expanded and improved in
Tech, Home & Garden and Media. As of 28 March sellers' product
photos that have been uploaded to the site will begin to be selected for
inclusion in the product catalogues.
If a seller's photo is chosen to represent a product in the catalogue, an attribution including the seller's user ID and a link to their profile page will be included under the photo every time it is displayed on the product details page. This attribution can give sellers additional exposure.

PAYMENT HOLDS FOR EBAY RESOLUTION CASES

The recently launched the eBay resolution process has been designed to resolve claims faster and maintain eBay as a safe marketplace for buyers and sellers. At the end of March a marketing campaign will introduce this process to buyers as 'eBay Buyer Protection' to encourage buyers to use the eBay resolution process for quicker claims resolution.
As part of the eBay resolution process, a seller's payment may be held when a buyer escalates a resolution case or at any point during the resolution process. As with PayPal Resolution, the new process can temporarily hold payments until a satisfactory conclusion is reached.

PAYMENT HOLDS INTRODUCED FOR NEW SELLER ACCOUNTS

As an important security step for new sellers, any PayPal payments received within a 90-day period
after the seller's first successful sale will be held for up to 21 days.
This will help new sellers to build up a reputation as a trusted member of the eBay selling community. Payment may be released sooner than 21 days if the item delivery is confirmed or if positive feedback
is received.
Established sellers who open a new account can have the holds for new accounts waived by linking to one of their existing seller accounts.
