Hi everyone,

I hope you're all achieving success in your chosen niche/business.

This is without a doubt, one of the greatest forums to help you do just that.

For many new to online business, social media has become an important tool in promoting your websites/businesses, with Twitter, Facebook, and the newly launched Google Buzz. And as we all know, it's important when using these tools, not only to be promoting your business, but to add rich, informative content based on your niche.

So I've just launched my 2nd website, only 4 hours ago actually Smile
Which helps you do just that....and it's FREE Smile

Link: http://malopuff.com/

All you do is enter a keyword, lets say "pets" is your niche. The website will then provide the latest social chatter/trending topics based on your keyword. You can then share this on Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz, My Space and many other social media pages.

You can also create, and share your own poll/vote.

Any feedback will be very welcome, the page may have a few kinks...I a working on that Tongue

Have a fantastic day, and I wish you all much success.

Kyle

lol...is that something like how I don't buy Microsoft products Big Grin

Well basically, if you run an online business...using social media is fast becoming one of the best (and free) ways to gather more leads and sales.

For anyone running a business online, you MUST have a Facebook Page, Twitter Account, and now Google Buzz account (and all should have the same name as your business). You can connect your Facebook to Twitter, and Twitter to your Buzz Account. So all you have to do is post your own advert on your Facebook Page, which then posts it on Twitter, then Buzz. Your advertising to thousands of people in one post.

However, you must also provide rich content. If you constantly post links to your website, people will get sick of you and stop following.
So the page I created assists with that, by providing the latest news based on the keyword entered.

You can also create a free poll/vote. Perhaps you want to make a change to your website/business....create a vote and let your customers decide.

Say you want to make a few changes to your forum. My website will create a URL for your vote/poll.

Should Selboy change the forum? your URL would look like this
http://shouldselboychangetheforum.malopuff.com/
Post it out, and whenever you want to count the votes, just click on the URL.
right, I think lol.

Good luck Kyle, I shall take another luck when time permits I understand the concept a little better now.
Hi Kyle, I really like the site. I too find it a bit confusing, but I think I'm going to give it a go. I follw that I need Facebook, twitter amd google buzz, then I post an ad on facebook which if Ive linked sites goes to twitter and google buzz. What do I do with the latest info you provide on your site? Comment on it? Link to it? Just a little confused. sorry to be so stupid but please help.

Hey Red,

Nice to meet you mate. And nah man, there's no such thing as a stupid question.

Okay, this is going to be a novel so bear with me lol. Only because I don't know your knowledge of Twitter and Google Buzz.

But this is how I use my website, and other stuff thrown in Big Grin

With Twitter, you can follow up to 2000 people as fast as you like. But once you hit 2000, your following has to balance out. So you can't follow more people until you have around 2000 people following you back. Then from there, you can gradually grow. Say you follow 2505, you must have around 2500 following you back before you can follow more people. Otherwise your breaking Twitters terms of service, and your account will be suspended indefinitely.

Google Buzz on the other hand is only new, and doesn't have these restrictions....yet. In only 5 days, I have 2000 people following me, and I'm following around 4000.

So, because content is important when I send out tweets, which also go out to all my google buzz followers. I use my website, which makes it quick, easy, and gives me a good reputation for providing quality information.

But more important, I also want it so not only do my followers receive these tweets, but non-followers.

This is how I do it.

If you go to your home page on twitter, you'll see where it has Twitter Trends? And they have a # tag in front of them. These are the most popular trends on twitter right now. #nowplaying #itsfunnyhow
So millions of people are using these tags in their comments when they post on twitter. If I'm listening to a cool song I like, I would post on my Twitter #nowplaying snoopdog Big Grin.

So what I do is go to my website and search for nowplaying (without the # tag). My website will display all the latest comments/news from people using that keyword.
In each result box on my page, you have the option to tweet, buzz, digg, or share (Facebook).

What you do is click on Tweet (not tweets). Which will redirect to your Twitter Page with the link http://nowplaying.malopuff.com

So you would add in a comment like - Twitter Worldwide Trends, #nowplaying.

What happens then is, you've not only sent a tweet out to your followers, but to the millions of people that are using and reading #nowplaying. And they will see the link has come from a solid resource for the latest topics/trends. Meaning your not just your typical salesperson trying to use a common word to sell themselves. (Twitter relationships are important).
This gains you more followers, a good reputation, meaning more leads and potential customers.

Second way I use it is I create a poll. There's a lot of talk at the moment about the Nexus One Phone, and if it will beat the iphone.

So I've created a poll simply called Nexus One Vs Iphone
My website created a URL for this poll - http://nexusonevsiphone.malopuff.com/

And below the poll is the latest related info/trending information in regards to the iphone and Nexus One. So what I do is choose an interesting story from the list to use as a header for my next tweet - Mashable’s New iPhone App: Download Today!
I click Tweet, which redirects me to Twitter and looks like this in the twitter post
http://nexusonevsiphone.malopuff.com/

I place the header in front of the tweet so it appears as so
Mashable’s New iPhone App: Download Today! - http://nexusonevsiphone.malopuff.com/

Whenever someone clicks on the link, they say hey..i'll make a vote. And they look at all the relevant information below and say, hey...Red really provides some solid info here, and they add you Big Grin.

Too many people tweet nothing but sales, no one likes it. Selling isn't just about making a sale. It means building relationships with people, being genuine, and providing useful, relevant information.

I've written this without all the sales hype, like Wow...and it does this amazing thing yada yada yada lol.

But what I will tell you is it works really well, so good luck.
